    2010 - maintenant PM Castors delivers best-in-class facilities, maintenance, cleaning and security services to customers throughout Geneva lake area in a wide variety of markets, including commercial/corporate, manufac- turing plants, education, retail, financial institutions, government, public venues, and life sciences.
    Leading the migration of the company from a “family managed” business to a growing and mature company.

    Implementing ISO 9000 et 14000 certification. Introducing operational, HR and financial processes. Creation of a commercial department and a quality department. Migrate technical infra- structure to state of the art solutions: cloud computing, time management, Computer-aided Mainte- nance Management Systems (CMMS).
  • Speedlingua SA - VP Product, Technology & Operations

    2007 - 2010 Start in April 2008 with the mandate to migrate operational activities from Luxembourgs’ Headquarter to Switzerland (Scientific Park of Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne). Setup of the Lausanne's offices and recruitment of local staff, including VP Marketing & Strategy and CEO.

    In parallel, led the development of the general public line of products and conducted a full brand re- design, including Speedlingua’s new web site and eShop. Setup of logistic process to support interna- tional shipping. Creation of multilingual support team.
  • Orange Communications SA - Director Products & Solutions

    Paris 2006 - 2007 Since January 2006, after an important reorganization, leading the formation of Products & Solutions, bringing together technical and commercial aspects into a powerful delivery unit. Responsible of all the IT side but also of the Marketing Product Management side (product definition, launch and life-cycle) of a standard Telco Company (BSS, CRM, Web & Wap Portals, DWH, ERP, VAS and Devices). The responsibility includes Product Management, Project Management, Architecture, System Analysis and System Integration.
    One of the main challenge was to successfully drive the change to insufflate Product Management culture in a department mainly composed of "pure IT" people.

    Prior to that, Director of the IT department (Technical Solutions) of the organization within the same perimeter (plus Core Network) after having evolved within the Technical division from Planning & Analysis Manager in the Billing & CRM department to the Head of Billing & CRM.

    Aside the standard duties of an IT director, major achievements during these years can be summarized as follow:

    • Implementation of a robust financial methodology to achieve the management of over 80 Millions budget (CAPEX and OPEX) with less than 1% deviation.
    • Management of over 100 internal head-counts and more than 100 externals.
    • CMM-I level 2 (first Telco operator to be certified) and SOX certifications. Identification and institutionalization of the Key Practices to make the associated KPA the normal way of Business within the Technical Solutions department. Conducted SCAMPI appraisal

    • Introduction of Project and Portfolio Management methodology and tools (Clarity) to ensure proper management of over 100 projects per year.
    • Vendor management of major suppliers such as Nokia, Amdocs, SAP.
    • Conducted off and near shoring initiatives to India and Eastern European countries to optimize cost structure.
    • Led 2 important reorganizations to drive the organization from a standard IT structure to the current Product Factory structure.

    2000 - 2001 Contracted initially as Application Delivery Manager for Call Center Systems then as Design Manager for Telco Systems. The work included strong collaborations and interfaces with Vodafone UK (British Gas was MVNO of Vodafone)

    • Delivery of the Customer Care elements of the Gemini Customer Care and Billing (aka Amdocs Ensemble) system and responsibility for liaison with VCS and AMDOCS.
    • Specification design and delivery of applications that support Customer Care processes and Call Centre Operations.
    • Design of all Telco Systems in Centrica IS (mediation, provisioning, etc..).

    1997 - 1997 Co-founded a Forex broker (foreign exchange) company based in Geneva. After one year of exploitation the company has been sold to an important group of the Geneva’s financial place.
  • FreeModels - Producer

    1996 - 1996 Produced, published and commercialized a library of royalty-free digital photos for graphic arts professionals. This collection has been produced with professional photographers and models under release of rights. The library has been then sold to a major US stock photography/image bank company.
  • Horizon Multimedia SA (Switzerland) - CEO

    1992 - 1998 Co-founder of the company in 1991. Horizon Multimedia SA was specialized in multimedia and audiovisuals creations and realizations (TV Commercials, Computer based training, Web sites, CD-I, CD-Rom,...).

    Among the customers we found: SWX - Swiss Stock Exchange, L’Oreal Switzerland, Philip Morris Switzerland and International.
