Airbus FAL CHINA - Head of Cross CoE Team
• Representing all CoEs to FAL China, focal point for all CoE homebases on the other
• Manage multi-skilled transnational cross-CoE qualified team
• Manage Handover of assemblies from CoE homebases to on-site CoE team and from there to FAL China
• Manage all Outstanding Work and unplanned Work under responsibility of all CoEs with regard to Airbus quality standard and costs
•Constantly reduce amount of OW by active anticipation with the concerned CoEs
Create or update and follow Service Level Agreement with FAL China & CoE's
Strengthen effective communication with all FAL C partners, e.g. stations
Secure full support, concentration and delegation from CoE home bases and all necessary tools, facilities, processes and aircraft parts on-site to achieve reactivity not to block the FAL process
Promote integrated way of working, strengthen the network with FAL China
Develop and implement strategy of future cross-CoE team, e.g. to support after sales, e.g. to recruit more locals

  • AIRBUS FRANCE - RR T500 & T700 Engine & Nacelle Integration Group Leader

    2006 - 2008 Manage a team of 3 Airbus France Engineers and 2 subcontracted Engineers
    Liaise with Engines & Nacelles suppliers, Airbus Engineering (all Powerplant ATA), Program, Product Support, Quality, MAP, Procurement, Final Assembly Line, Flight Test Reception, and BFE Suppliers.
    Ensure certification and maintain RR T500 & T700 Powerplant navigability
    Control and support all design modifications including investigation, technical negotiations, and coordination and planning validation.
    Participate to Powerplant Configuration Control Board and Engineering Management Review
    Organize and coordinate the Technical Review Meetings
    Support Final Assembly Line, Quality and In-Service fleet
  • AIRBUS FRANCE - Head Of Propulsion Systems Quality

    2005 - 2006 Report to the “Head of Centre of Excellence Pylon & Nacelles Quality”
    Manage an international team of 7 Powerplant Quality Managers
    Liaise with various Airbus departments (Procurement, Delivery, Contract Delivery & Administration, Conformity, FALs, Flight lines, Flight Test Reception, etc…) and with engines and nacelles suppliers
    Guarantee at any time that Airworthiness, Safety and product Configuration are met regarding PPS as per EASA part 21G (Production Organization Approval or any other Airbus procedure).
    Ensure that non-conformances raised on Powerplant during production and A/C delivery phases are analyzed, reported and treated on time by relevant organizations (Suppliers, Airbus Engineering, Manufacturing, Procurement, Flight Test….)
  • AIRBUS GERMANY - Powerplant Quality Manager (IAE V2500, CFM56)

    2003 - 2005 Hamburg Senior Representative
    Check and ensure the quality / configuration conformity of new or refurbished propulsion systems
    Act as authorised signatories for acceptance of propulsion systems as per applicable JAR21G rules
    Manage non-conformity issues and interface with FAL, ADC Hamburg
    Co-ordinate quality issues with Engineering, Programmes, Customer Services
    Initiate any necessary action for continuous improvements of propulsion systems
    Interface with Airlines during delivery process for propulsion systems quality topics.
  • AIRBUS CENTRAL ENTITY - Powerplant Quality Manager (IAE V2500, RR & HH T500/700)

    2000 - 2003 Check and ensure the quality / configuration conformity of new or refurbished propulsion systems
    Act as authorised signatories for acceptance of propulsion systems as per applicable JAR21G rules
    Manage non-conformity issues and interface with FAL, ADC (Toulouse/Hamburg)
    Co-ordination with Engineering, Programmes, Customer Services for quality escape
    Initiation of any necessary action for continuous improvements of propulsion systems
    Interface with Airlines during delivery for propulsion systems related quality problem
    Support A340-500/600 RR T500 propulsion system program development to ensure smooth EIS
  • AIRBUS FRANCE - IAE V2500-A1/-A5 engine FADEC integration

    1997 - 2000 In charge of A320 familly IAE V2500-A1/-A5 engine FADEC and nacelle integration
  • SECA (AEROSPATIALE DIVISION) - Quality Inspector

    1995 - 1997 Quality inspector in charge Pratt & Whitney serie 100 & PT6 overhaul quality (Easa Form 1 equipment issuance)
  • SECA (AEROSPATIALE DIVISION) - Technician

    1993 - 1995 Mechanic working on engine Pratt & Whitney serie 100 & PT6 in an overhaul shop
  • FRENCH NAVAL AIR ARMY - Mechanic

    1988 - 1993 Mechanic in the 6F Fleet working on Dassault “Alizé” Aircraft fitted with Engine Rolls-Royce DART 21.
