• TravelExtras (Angleterre) - E-commerce manager

  2004 - 2005 I was the e-commerce manager for travelextras, a 25 million £ company specializing in travel related products such as car rental, hotels and accommodation and travel insurance.
  
  Main achievements:
  • As a manager of 10 staff I took the e-commerce activity to a whole new level and won the 2004 Bedfordshire “best use of e-commerce” award.
  • I increased the company website’s conversion rate by 50%.

• Butterfly Effect - CEO

  2004 - 2010 Feedzilla.com allows website owners and bloggers to add news widgets to their own website.
  
  Main achievements:
  • As the CEO of the company and with a very small budget, I made my company become a world leading widget company with more than 3,000,000 daily widget views.
  • I managed 60 staff in 4 different countries.
  • I also raised 1.55 million euros from a large German VC.
  • I developed the entire website and technologies associated with Feedzilla
  • I successfully patented a methodology for creating online magazines.

• NRP Limited (Angleterre) - E-commerce/R&D director

  2003 - 2004 I was the co-founder and CTO at Weallcollect limited. Weallcollect was an auction website for art collectors and dealers.
  
  Main achievement:
  • I developed an eBay like website from scratch.

• SPX Valley Forge (Angleterre) - CBT team leader

  2002 - 2003 SPX Valley Forge is an American Fortune 500 company. I was in charge of a team that dealt with the development of CBT applications. Some of our clients included De Havilland and Renault.
  
  Main achievements:
  • I trained my team on the latest multimedia technologies and helped the company produce better products.

• Coventry University (Angleterre) - Lecturer

  1998 - 2002 For 4 academic years, I gave lectures to classes of 220 final year engineering students (BSc) and final year IT students. My module accounted for one fourth of the final mark of my students. I wrote the content of my lectures/seminars myself and I gave 12 hours of weekly lectures while I was working on my Ph.D. thesis. The main topics I covered in my lectures were E-commerce (business aspects), Web development and Web design.
  
  Main achievements:
  • I taught more than 220 final year BA and BSc students E-commerce at the age of 21
  • I made students who did not know about the Internet develop e-commerce websites

• Nicolas Bussard consulting (Angleterre) - Freelance/Consultant

  1998 - 2001 I was a freelance multimedia developer in France and I then became a multimedia/Web consultant in the UK. I’ve developed various multimedia applications, 3D movies and web sites for a wide range of companies in France and the UK.

• EADS - Research engineer

  Blagnac 1998 - 2001 I worked for 3 years for Aerospatiale Airbus, which is now part of the EADS group, the leading European aircraft company. Aerospatiale Airbus was my collaborating establishment when I was working on my Ph.D.

  • I programmed a set of very sophisticated tools that allow assembling planes faster and these tools are still currently used in the aircraft industry
