My Master's project was titled THE ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT OF GOLD MINING AND ITS MANAGEMENT IN THE SIKASSO REGION OF MALI. Over two months data collection, I acquired from Siama and Morila mines skills in the (a) Mode of production and management of wastes of all types : Medical, domestic (from camp) and industrial (resulting from the extraction of gold after applying contaminants such as cyanide, mercure and others) (b) Mode of pollution of surface and underground waters on and surrounding the sites and the sampling methods of those waters for analysis (c) Air pollution and techniques to control the air quality (d) Rehabilitation technique of Waste Rock Dumps (e) Identification and correction of risks associated with activities on the site for the safety of workers (f) Personal Protection Equipment management and (g) Community Development (friendly, I held the focus group discussion and administered questionnaires with mines' neighboring rural populations or communities).

I completed a six-month Internship programme (October 2014-March 2015), at Oyo State Solid Waste Management Authority (OYOWMA), Ibadan (NIGERIA). I gained valuable experience in: Waste collection, Enlightenment and Enforcement of public in waste management with the goal of preventing or reducing expansions of diseases especially malaria which surely derives from an improper dumping or handling of solid waste, Waste sorting out and recycling, Production of organic fertilizer, Waste land filling and Landfill management.

I previously served as intern and field surveyor respectively with a local NGO (GRAADECOM headquartered in sikasso region) and also with an international NGO (Innovation for Poverty Action – Mali which remains an American organization).

As a perfect bilingual (French and English), I indeed remain motivated and committed to occupy with the aim of providing satisfactory results to any Environmental consultancy or management job in any given Mine or Environmental friendly organization. Thank you
