Currently responsible for planning relief of officers and ratings using the existing pool of seafarers, employing through the Crew Manning Agents where an agreement exists, or employing new ones when necessary ensuring that the relief plan meets the mission's requirements, providing to colleagues all information required to ensure smooth operation for the vessels making sure that all seafarers on board the vessel are properly certified as per National,International and Company Specific requirements for the vessels.

    General & administration

    - Monthly Wages verification and payment for the vessels under my responsibility.
    - Offsigners Wages verification and payment for the vessels under my responsibility.
    - Invoices related to the Crew Changes for the vessels under my responsibility.
    - Maintain evaluation (appraisals, etc.) of seafarers.
    - Provide sea service certificates, salary certificates, other certificates for crew when required.
    - Back up of the crewing manager and crewing officer when absent from office
    - Office Staff Visas if/when required.
    - Office Travel Arrangements in case of need.
    - Organize and follow up training courses for seafarers, including but not limited to STCW and Company requirements.

    Relief

    - Planning, Verify that Planned Seafarers are ready in all respects to embark on time, following all requirements (Visas, Certificates etc).
    - Issuance of Contracts of Employment (Operation Orders, Service Contracts, Terms and Conditions) for the Seafarers.
    - Constant communication with Crew Manning Agents to verify that planned crew is ready in all respects to join/embark.
    - Maintaining contacts with seamen for re-engagement planning.
    - Carrying out briefing & debriefing procedures for seafarers.
    - Liaison with travel operator for travel arrangements.
    - Travel arrangements in case of need.
  • ARGO TRAVEL S.A - Senior Travel Coordinator

    2007 - 2012 Supervise travel arrangements on Sabre GDS System.
    - Booking flights (mostly for seamen travellers) hotels and cars for both crew members and office staff in liaison with Shipping Companies and Airlines.
    - Refund e-tickets via Sabre GDS system & IATA-BSP Link, follow up on BSP periodic reports,Check ACM/ADM. Deal with airlines (Refund department) for ADM contested.
    - Sales visits to maintain good business relationship with customers.
    Back office (Financial's accountant Assistant):
    - Issue Invoices & Credit Notes on TABS system.
    - Travel related invoice controls of all suppliers,check BSP periodic reports.
    - File classification and archiving.
