Responsible for the management of the 12 Swarovski own retail stores in Czech Republic, Hungary, Romania and Sweden. The tasks entail strategic retail management, store operations, merchandise planning and management, visual merchandising, training, customer service and people management.
The reporting line is into the VP Central & Eastern Europe.

- Turnover and budget plans:
o Sales development, P&L-planning, budget planning, forecasts and cost management.
o Implementing, securing, developing and controlling
the KPI management system in order to achieve targets.

- Staff management and development:
o Recruiting, training, developing and motivating the Retail Staff (annual appraisal dialogues).
o Performance assessment of the Boutique Managers.
o Personnel development of Retail Staff in closed
reconciliation with HR.
o Disciplinary and technical leadership of subordinates in the area of responsibility.

- Strategic planning in cooperation with the relevant interfaces:
o Establishing measures to achieve turnover targets
and increasing productivity.
o Ensure a mark down / promotion strategy which is in line with budgets and guidelines that drives sales in an optimal way.
o Ensure best practice sharing within the CEE region.
o Competitor monitoring and analysis.

- Merchandise management:
o Stock planning and selection in accordance to regional specifics.
o Controlling sales, including monitoring and analysis of sale through.
o Providing product feedback to the respective divisions.
o Sales promotion strategies.

- Visual Merchandising:
o Implementation of the VM presentations according to global standards (Retail Calendar).

- Retail expansion:
o Definition and implementation of retail expansion strategy together with expansion team.
o Location management.

Develop and implement worlwide new retail concepts which ensure a good quality representation of the brand as well as a long term sustainable business case for retailers and Swarovski.

These new retail concepts include new tools and processes regarding Architecture, Visual Merchandising, Product Assortment, Retail Marketing, Training and also Account Management at the store level.
