Consultant/Project Manager, business intelligence mandates on a free-lance basis and in parralel to my other activities.

From a Geneva base, acted as co-founder and partner of a boutique business intelligence consulting firm active in the EMEA and Asia region with, as other main partner, prior Manager of CGIS SA. Similar activities and clients as at CGIS.

CGIS was an international consulting firm that helped companies, local administrations and governments gather business intelligence, conduct corporate investigations, implement controls and maintain security with a risk-management focus. CGIS SA covered Europe (including Central Europe and Russia), the Middle East and Africa. It was the sole office of the firm outside of the US.

As Project Director, my role was to evaluate client issues, draft proposals, and manage client projects. Handled the operational aspects of all client mandate executions, after having participated in the definition of the mandate execution strategy. Maintained an active network of contacts, experts, and sub-contractors worldwide. Gathered and analysed market intelligence and expertise worldwide. Produced reports to present findings to clients. Grew new and repeat business in the EMEA and Asia region. Liaised with colleagues, mostly in the US and Asia, and contacts for referrals and to find effective solutions to client challenges.
