2004 - 2005Working at the European HQ (in Brussels, Belgium), I was coordinating and supervising various projects related to finance, CRM and corporate strategy.
My main tasks were the following :
- Implementation of a financial software (Cognos/Frango Consolidator) involving affiliated companies' needs analysis.
- Creation of a standard European chart of accounts (based on IFRS)
- Uniformisation of accounting and reporting rules thoughout the network
- Development of a wholesale financing solution in cooperation with a top-tier bank specialised in financing solutions for industrial equipment.
- Study phase (business plan) for launch of a global discount system for all Toyota distributors in Europe but managed by the HQ.
2004 - 2004Business Performance Management (BPM) Consulting projects targeting multinationals (Dexia Bank, Aviva, Nissan) in France, Belgium, Poland and Japan:
- Needs analysis and software implementation ("Magnitude") in order to improve financial and operational performance.
2001 - 2002Expatriate job in India and Australia.
I led the following key initiatives:
- Market research (identification of customers needs and competitive analysis),
- Sales strategy, forecasting and budgetary control alongside a business plan over 3 years for the Indian branch office including Profit & Loss, Operations, HR and Marketing,
- Deployment of Siebel (CRM tool) at LMS India (Bangalore) and staff training,
- Marketing events and PR for optimally growing the automotive, aerospace and defence market for noise,
vibration and durability products (Hardware and Software).
2000 - 2001Even though hired as Trainee by the Belgian Foreign Trade Board in Brussels (now known as Federal Export Agency), I spent more than 50% of my project being based at the Belgian Embassy in Spain (Madrid). I was responsible for the growth of the Belgian security software industry and conducted the following tasks:
- Micro- and macro-economic analysis including sales forecasting,
- Relationship building with potential Spanish partners and clients,
The results of the study were made public to all Belgian companies interested by the Spanish market.
