Graduated from Business School in January 2005, I joined JPMorgan Chase Paris as Financial Controller and appointed since 2006 as Local Operational Risk Manager.
I will join a front office position in Private Banking for UBS in Sept'07.
Start new front office role on Private Banking in September 2007. Position is based in Geneva. I will cover onshore clients.
2005 - 2007Risk Manager in charge of the Paris office coverage for the Investment Bank and Private Bank
As Local Operational Risk Manager (since February 2006):
• Set up and implementation of the operational risk matrix for the Paris operations activity in accordance with the Regulator 97-02 requirements on permanent control.
• Define and realize control reviews/ spot audits as per the defined frequencies in the matrix.
• Ensure operational risks are fully understood, adequately measured and pro-actively managed by Operations and Management teams.
• Develop and maintain risk tools: Control Self Assessment database (control issues, corrective actions, appropriate ownership and agreed target dates), information and controls environment database (outsourcing, regulatory update, control plans).
• Local risk central point reporting to the branch COO and to the head of region Risk manager.
As Financial Controller (January 2005-January 2006):
• Responsible for the accurate flow of transactions into downstream systems.
• Responsibility for month-end sign off & accounts substantiation.
• Contribution to internal and external reportings (JP Morgan Operational Committee, auditors, regulators).
2003 - 2003• As part of a team of 6 financial analysts, analysed financial performance reports for various consolidated companies with a turnover of over €30 Million. After detailed analysis, assigned each company with a grade reflecting its performance over the previous financial year. Compiled a report detailing the reasons for this grade.
• In partnership with the Lyon Chamber of Commerce, evaluated improvements to the grading process for companies in the services to industry sector. This role involved organising meetings with managing directors, providing them with written feedback, reporting on findings and presenting results.
