Martin Walsh
Senior Practice Manager - Infrastructure Management Services, Infosys Technologies Ltd
After 5 years in the Strategic Sourcing practice of Gartner Inc. based in Paris defending clients against the outsourcers, I then moved to the sell side of a Swiss Financial IT services company, selling Banking Solution Outsourcing solutions to the Swiss market. The Swiss company was acquired by IBM, where I continued on the same path, but with a larger horizon and the Big Blue way.
Started at Infosys Technologies Ltd on the 5th of October as a Business Relationship Manager. Following a month in Bangalore, India learning about the company and meeting as many of my new colleagues as possible I returned to my base in Geneva, Switzerland and continue to negotiate outsourcing deals in the Infrastructure Management space.
Joined Infosys on the 5th of October in the Client Services Group - responsible for the engagement process (RFI/P to contract signature) for new and existing clients for Infrastructure Management Services (IMS), with a slant to the Insurance, Health and Life-Sciences (IHL) and Energy, Utility, Services (EUS) sectors. Also responsible for a portfolio of clients at the revenue and P&L level.
I am responsible for the IMS (Infrastructure Management Services) service portfolio covering the business verticals IHL (Insurance, Health, Life Sciences) and EUS (Energy, Utilities and Services) for Europe. I am responsible for growing the business both in terms of new business and existing clients for IMS within the two verticals.
