The team I manage deliver large-scale changes to the banking platform in accordance with our clients and partners requirements. 2008 - 2009Working on a banking and wealth management system strongly tied to PL/SQL and Magic interface as a consultant on client site (bank). Daily activities include direct liason with clients (BAs) to understand their business needs and translate into technical design before implementing the solution as a corrective or new application feature.
Daily activities included:
Resolution of bugs as well as program enhancements.
Involved in support for major version upgrades and support to release management personnel.
Amongst others I was involved with the following applicative features:
1.Standing Orders implementation.
2.Straight Through Processing.
3.BSE back-office / front-office capture (order lifecycle).
4.Compliance management implementation i.e: OFAC list, cash/account blocked, credit lines violations etc.
5.Web application – client-facing reporting (non transactional, advices...)
